Reinterpretación semiótica para las pantallas en el diseño y las artes

Abstract

La convergencia de medios, la conformación de nuevos lenguajes y los desarrollos tecnológicos, principalmente en la fibra óptica y el 5G, han permeado indiscutiblemente las formas de creación, producción, interpretación y difusión en el diseño y las artes. Se reinterpretará el proceso comunicativo entre dos máquinas propuesto por Umberto Eco para contrastar las modificaciones provocadas por la interacción digital. Actualmente, gracias a las pantallas es posible acceder a un sin número de aplicaciones, productos o servicios, sin embargo, es vital aprender, reinter-pretar y asociar desde la semiótica las nuevas estructuras que se crean en un nuevo contexto: el digital.

The convergence of media, the shaping of new languages and technological developments, mainly in fiber optics and 5G, have undoubtedly permeated the forms of creation, production, interpretation and dissemination in the field of Design and the Arts. The communication process between two machines proposed by Umberto Eco will be reinterpreted to check the modifications caused by digital interaction. Currently, screens make possible to access a plethora of applications, products or services; however, it is crucial to learn, reinterpret and associate, from the point of view of semiotics, the new structures that are created in a new context: being digital.
