Categorías estéticas y nuevos conceptos de la teoría de las artes escénicas contemporáneas

Abstract

La teoría del arte es una disciplina que ha desplazado a la estética en la labor de estudiar al arte, porque se ha construido a partir de las nuevas epistemologías generadas desde el arte contemporáneo y por ello tiene las herramientas necesarias para dar cuenta de él. La teoría del arte se nutre y vincula con muchas otras disciplinas, pero a diferencia de la estética, su objeto de investigación es siempre el arte, lo cual le da una urdimbre conceptual y metodológica generada específicamente para el estudio del fenómeno artístico contemporáneo. En este texto se analiza la desarticulación de la asociación automática entre estética y arte, la noción de acontecimiento en las artes escénicas, la integración en la obra de arte contemporáneo de procesos cognoscitivos, la imbricación de la obra con la realidad y el cuerpo, asuntos que estudia de manera particular la teoría de la danza.

Art theory is a discipline that has displaced aesthetics in the work of studying art, because it has been constructed from the new epistemologies generated from contemporary art and therefore has the necessary tools to account for it. Art theory is nourished and linked to many other disciplines, but unlike aesthetics, its object of research is always art, which gives it a conceptual and methodological warp generated specifically for the study of the contemporary artistic phenomenon. This text analyses the disarticulation of the automatic association between aesthetics and art, the notion of event in the performing arts, the integration of cognitive processes in the contemporary artwork, the imbrication of the work with reality and the body, issues that dance theory studies in a particular way.
