Descolonizar la perspectiva en el arte y la pedagogía

Abstract

En esta ponencia se hace un recorrido por diferentes perspectivas, aplicadas a las representaciones del espacio y las formas; es decir, se indaga cómo se instauran las diferentes formas de ver. De igual manera, se relieva y conflictúa el hecho de que la perspectiva lineal, conformada en la modernidad occidental, se asuma como única o verdadera. Con este antecedente, se plantea la necesidad de incorporar perspectivas que ayuden a descolonizar las prácticas pedagógicas del arte. Se busca posibilitar formas de representación que conlleven elementos ideológicos, culturales y artísticos eclécticos. Por lo antes mencionado es necesario repensar e investigar las relaciones entre las maneras de ver pertenecientes a los campos del arte occidental que se utilizan en las prácticas sociales hoy; valga decir, en los campos de la investigación-creación, y todas las disciplinas que se relacionan con lo artístico.

This presentation takes a tour of different perspectives, applied to the representations of space and forms; That is, it investigates how different ways of seeing are established. Likewise, the fact that the linear perspective, formed in Western modernity, is assumed to be the only or true one is highlighted and conflicted. With this background, the need to incorporate perspectives that help decolonize art pedagogical practices arises. It seeks to enable forms of representation that involve eclectic ideological, cultural and artistic elements. Due to the afore mentioned, it is necessary to rethink and investigate the relationships between the ways of seeing belonging to the fields of Western art that are used in social practices today; That is to say, in the fields of research-creation, and all the disciplines that are related to the artistic.
