Caracterización térmica de viviendas de interés social en la ciudad de San Luis Potosí: evaluación del comportamiento térmico en viviendas de interés social

Abstract

Esta tesis presenta, mediante el análisis de casos de estudio, deficiencias existentes en el comportamiento térmico de distintos espacios de viviendas de interés social en la ciudad de San Luis Potosí. Para este fin, se llevó a cabo el análisis y evaluación del comportamiento térmico de prototipos de vivienda de interés social, se determinó el índice de confort térmico presente en los espacios de estudio y se establecieron recomendaciones de diseño para mejorar las condiciones de temperatura presentes en estas viviendas. La investigación comienza con un estudio sobre las condiciones, necesidades y oferta actual de vivienda de interés social en la ciudad de San Luis Potosí. Posteriormente se desarrolla un análisis climático para establecer las condiciones físicas de la ciudad en la que se encuentran las viviendas pertinentes a este documento. A continuación, se elabora un análisis bioclimático de la localidad, mediante el cual se establecen parámetros de evaluación del comportamiento térmico de las edificaciones analizadas. La sección siguiente del documento consiste en el análisis del comportamiento térmico de las viviendas. Para desarrollar dicho análisis, se registra de forma horaria la temperatura presente en los espacios seleccionados durante 30 días aproximadamente, en los periodos extremos de frío y calor en la ciudad de San Luis Potosí. Finalmente, se establecen conclusiones y recomendaciones pertinentes para el mejoramiento de edificaciones existentes, así como para la creación de nuevos edificios de este tipo. Esta investigación ofrece información tangible sobre el tema de confort térmico en viviendas de interés social en la ciudad de San Luis Potosí y establece un punto de partida para mejorar las condiciones de temperatura en dichas viviendas, convirtiéndose así en una herramienta auxiliar para la toma de decisiones sobre el diseño de este tipo de espacios.

The present thesis exposes, by means of the analysis of several study cases, deficiencies in the thermal behavior of several spaces present in social housing in the city of San Luis Potosí. For this purpose, it was conducted an analysis and evaluation of the thermal behavior of several prototypes of social housing, it was determined the thermal comfort rating in the spaces of analysis and, lastly, design guidelines were established, for the improvement of the thermal conditions present in such spaces. The research begins with a survey about the present conditions, needs and current offer of social housing in the city of San Luis Potosí. Later, a climatic study is developed, with the objective of establishing the physical conditions present in the city where the study prototypes are established. Next, a bioclimatic analysis on the location is made, by means of which thermal behavior evaluation parameters are established, for the edifices analyzed in this research. Next section of the document consists in the thermal behavior analysis of the houses. For the development of said analysis, the temperature present in the chosen spaces is registered hourly, for 30 days approximately, during the extreme hot and cold annual periods in the city of San Luis Potosí. Lastly, findings, conclusions and recommendations applicable for the betterment of this type of edifices are stablished, for existing housing and for the development of new housing. This research offers tangible information about the thermal comfort in social housing theme, for the city of San Luis Potosí. It also establishes a starting point for the improvement of the temperature conditions inside this type of housing, becoming an auxiliary tool for decision making about social housing design.
