En defensa de nuestros métodos y maneras

Abstract

In the preparation of any academic text of any specialty, the author who is original, ethical and consistent with his profession must always give punctual credit to all those authors who provide intellectual support to his work, of course human knowledge is a continuum. of contributions from multiple people from various disciplines who every day generate knowledge in their field of study and to whom we also owe our wisdom. To record and differentiate our contribution in the prepared text, from that which we take from others who have preceded us in the research, we use what is known as the Critical Apparatus; which consists of citing, referencing and offering the reader of our work the sources that have supported us to bring it to a successful conclusion. Despite boasting our autonomy as a country and as a university, little by little we have allowed ourselves to be colonized by the americans and without realizing it we have freely given in to their dictates in fields that are culturally richer than those of the North American language, which should not be confused with the english language. In this paper I propose to make visible the importance of sticking to our own methods and ways of writing and organizing our critical apparatus, in order to defend our own language, tradition and culture.

En la elaboración de cualquier texto académico de cualquier especialidad, el autor que sea original, ético y coherente con su profesión deberá siempre dar crédito puntual a todos aquellos autores que le dan soporte intelectual a su trabajo, desde luego que el conocimiento humano es un continuo de aportaciones de múltiples personas de diversas disciplinas que día a día generan conocimiento en su campo de estudio y a las cuales debemos nosotros también nuestra sabiduría. Para dar constancia y diferenciar nuestra aportación en el texto elaborado, de aquella que tomamos de otros que nos han precedido en la investigación, nos valemos de lo que se conoce como Aparato crítico; que consiste en citar, referenciar y ofrecer al lector de nuestro trabajo, las fuentes que nos han servido de apoyo para llevarlo a buen término. A pesar de presumir nuestra autonomía como país y como universidad, poco a poco nos hemos dejado colonizar por los estadounidenses y sin darnos cuenta hemos cedido gratuitamente a sus dictados en campos culturalmente más ricos que los de la lengua norteamericana, que no hay que confundir con la lengua inglesa. En esta ponencia me propongo hacer visible la importancia de atenernos a nuestros propios métodos y maneras de escribir y organizar nuestro aparato crítico, en aras de defender nuestra propia lengua, tradición y cultura.
