Calidad en la educación superior en México

Abstract

Considerando los cambios vertiginosos y caóticos que permean el ámbito histórico de fin de milenio, las autoras dirigen su mirada en busca de la educación, proceso especialmente susceptible a los fenómenos contextuales, debido, en buena medida, a la delicada tarea formativa de la sociedad que mediante éste se produce. Tratándose de personas, es decir, de los individuos que conforman una cultura y que están siendo afectados de una u otra forma por las alteraciones, muchas veces abruptas, del entorno, es prioritario ofrecer hoy, más que nunca, una educación superior de alta calidad, que propicie la formación de profesionales cabalmente formados, con amplias posibilidades de enfrentar exitosamente los retos de un ambiente profusamente competitivo e innovador, al tiempo que puedan generar el conocimiento necesario para el auténtico avance social

Taking into account the dizzying and chaotic changes that are permeating the historical end of the millennium era, the authors are directing their gaze, looking into education, that process especially susceptible to contextual phenomenon, giving that to a larger extend to the delicate development of what the society is giving out and producing. Talking about persons, that is, individuals that conform a culture and that are being affected in one way or another by alterations, sometimes, abrupt ones, from the boundary, it’s now a priority to offer, more than ever, a college education of high quality, that gives us the development of professionals with good possibilities to successfully face the challenges of a competitive and innovative environment at whatever time they can generate the necessary knowledge to lead them to an authentic social change
