Abstract

El vínculo entre el dibujo y el lenguaje se ha concretado con la escritura. A partir del desarrollo de ese gesto de trazar, marcar, incidir, y de dar a esas marcas significados lingüísticos, es que la escritura ha sido posible. La escritura como un gesto creador tiene una relación aún más estrecha con el dibujo gracias a la caligrafía. Así, la escritura china, el haiku y el haiga japonés se muestran como ejemplos precisos de la unión de esas expresiones, pues en ellas subyace una totalidad universal en la que no hay separación y división del ser humano con el universo vivo y del humano mismo. Por tanto, no se trata de una relación meramente formal, ese vínculo es en esencia un encuentro entre materia y espíritu.

The link between drawing and language has been concretized with writing. From the development of that gesture of tracing, marking, influencing, and giving those marks linguistic meanings, it is that writing has been possible. Writing as a creative gesture has an even closer relationship with drawing thanks to calligraphy. Thus, the Chinese writing, the haiku and the Japanese haiga are shown as precise examples of the union of these expressions, since they underlie a universal totality in which there is no separation and division of the human being with the living universe and the human himself. Therefore, it is not a purely formal relationship, that link is essentially an encounter between matter and spirit.
