Abstract

La teoría de la recepción analiza los procesos de significación del otro, en el proceso de construcción del conocimiento, y los resultados que arrojó a la historia; la habilidad en ello nos ayuda a reconstruir las expectativas, las experiencias de vida y la realidad socio-cultural. Tomando en cuenta el concepto de otredad, se puede reconocer el lugar social del texto; es decir, la percepción del lector y la comunidad de interpretación. PALABRAS CLAVE: Teoría de la recepción. The reception theory analyses the significance of the other in the generation of knowledge and its impact on history; this helps us restructure our expectations, life experiences and sociocultural realities. This concept of "otherness" allows us to recognize the social context of the text itself; it allows us to recognize the reader's perception and the community's interpretation.
