Diseño y validez de una prueba objetiva para un módulo experimental de la carrera de Biología, FES Iztacala

Abstract

El proceso de evaluación universitaria implica: obtención de información, emisión de juicios y toma de decisiones para mejorar la educación. Las pruebas objetivas se utilizan para evaluar y registrar los aprendizajes cognitivos y habilidades de los estudiantes. El propósito del trabajo fue diseñar y validar una prueba objetiva en estudiantes de Biología de tercer semestre, de la FES Iztacala. Se construyeron y validaron (técnica, contenido y aplicación) 60 ítems de opción múltiple. El 8.33% representaron el nivel de reproducción; el 31.66% de conceptualización, el 36.66 % de aplicabilidad y el 23.33% de exploración. El 45% de los ítems tuvieron adecuada calidad técnica. La calificación promedio de la aplicación fue de 58%, con una consistencia interna de 0.73. El grado de dificultad fue regular, con un coeficiente de correlación biserial y puntual buenos, dando estabilidad y validez a la prueba objetiva para ser utilizada en el área.

The process of university evaluation implies: Information obtaining, judgement emission, and decision making in order to improve education. Objective test are employed to evaluate and to register cognitive learning and student skills. The purpose of this work was to make and validate an objective test in biology students of third semester, from FES Iztacala. Sixty items of multiple choice were constructed and validate (technic, content and application). Of the items, 8.33% were of reproductive level; 31.66% of conceptualization; 36.66% of applicability, and 23.33% of exploration. Forty five of the items have adequate technical quality. The average rating of the application was 58%, with an internal consistency of 0.73. The degree of difficulty was regular, with a good biserial and punctual correlation coefficient, giving stability and validity to the objective test to be used in the area.
