Abstract

El texto explora la vinculación de Alfonsina Storni con el mar. Ese mar al que se entregará para ser otra, para ser él, la engullirá implacable sin tomar en cuenta el elogio que le prodigara ni permitir que ella sea otra fuera del dolor de la enfermedad que la agobiaba. Porque los seres humanos solemos adjudicarle virtudes, y hasta defectos, a las cosas que nos rodean. Pero el mar no es lo majestuoso externo, solamente, es una interioridad ingeniosa que puede aflorar en cualquier instante. La poeta, las mujeres, son de agua. Líquidas en su grácil sinuosidad. Al entregar su cuerpo al mar en su último acto de vida termina integrando su interioridad a ese envolvente líquido y la totalidad se consuma en un acto poético. El agua, más propiamente el mar que será su lugar de entrega final, participa del amor y de la muerte. Esa aventura culminante o como fin de una relación de amor. The paper explores the linkage of Alfonsina Storni with the sea.
