Taylorismo, fordismo y la administración científica en la industria automotriz

Abstract

A partir de un recorrido de Estados Unidos a México, pretendo —histórica y analíticamente— rescatar las características del taylorismo y la continuidad de sus inquietudes en los seguidores —directos e indirectos— de la administración científica; dar un panorama de la relación del taylorismo y el fordismo con la gestión y control de la producción y el trabajo en la industria automotriz y su pervivencia, a pesar de las transformaciones que siguieron a la década de los ochenta del siglo XX, años en los que centraré mis reflexiones. Cierro el artículo con algunas acotaciones sobre lo que vino después.

From an examine that begins in EUA and ends in México, I pretend, historically and analytically, made a recovery from the characteristics of taylorism and the continuity of its inquietudes in the followers —directs and indirect— of scientific business administration. I want to show a panoramic view of the relationship between taylorism and fordism with management, control of production and labor in the automotive industry and its permanence, in spite of the transformations after the eighties decade from twenty century, period of years where I will concentrate my reflections. The article finishes with some notes over the posterior changes on these matters.
