Reyes y la hermenéutica literaria

Abstract

Una secreta, sutil, relación existe entre la teoría literaria de Alfonso Reyes –que, en especial, desarrolla en El deslinde– y la filosofía del arte de Martin Heidegger. La idea de que es de la palabra de donde surge la poesía es algo coincidente en el pensador alemán y en el mexicano. La poesía no es previa a la palabra, como después sugeriría Octavio Paz, sino que es en la construcción verbal que el objeto poético se nos revela en su dimensión profunda. La palabra no solo crea a la poesía, sino es esa poesía la que nos revela el ser de las cosas del mundo. Cuando Reyes desarrolla el concepto de literatura ancilar, concibe el modo como el arte poético profundiza, ancilarmente, en el saber de las cosas del mundo y en su relación con el ser en el mundo (Dasein). El verbo no sólo crea al mundo, sino recrea las otredades posibles de su autor. Estas consideraciones son las que aquí se discuten.

There is a secret, sutil relation between Alfonso Reyes’ literary theory –which he develops specially in “El deslinde”– and the philosophy of art of Martin Heidegger. The idea that is from the word where poetry surges, is coincident in german and mexican thinkers. The poetry is not previus to the word as Octavio Paz would later suggest, but is in the verbal construction that the poetical object reveals to us in its profound dimension. Word does not only creates poetry but is the poetry what reveals to us the being of the things of the world. When Reyes develops the concept of ancillary literature, conceives the mode as the poetical depth, ancillary, in the acknowledgment of the things in the world and their relation with the being in the world (Dasein). The verb not only creates the world but recreates the possible otherness of its author. These considerations are here discussed.
