1521-1821 a través del lenguaje en una memoria

Abstract

Este artículo parte de la idea de que existe relación entre significante y significado, es decir, entre el nombre y la actuación de los individuos en la Historia. Al pasar el tiempo, de manera inconsciente, el nombre programa a los humanos. Esto sucede en el caso de los sustantivos propios de persona y los topónimos. Con este pensamiento se analiza la historia de México a través de los protagonistas desde la fundación de Tenochtitlan hasta 1821. Se observa la época novohispana y la Guerra de Independencia. Se comentan hallazgos interesantes como que el imperio azteca inició con el tótem de un águila venciendo una serpiente y finaliza con Cuauhtémoc prisionero, el águila que cae. En el caso de la Guerra de Independencia, como si la historia fuera una novela, fue iniciada por Ignacio Allende con el significado de “fuego de allí” en Dolores por los dolores sufridos por la explotación y el hambre del pueblo. Vicente Guerrero, el guerrero vencedor, finalizó la contienda en Iguala, sitio donde todos los mexicanos fuimos iguales ya sin dominadores ni dominados. En 1521, 14 años después del último Fuego Nuevo de los aztecas, sucedido en 1507, Carlos I de España, a través de Hernán Cortés, despojó del trono a Cuauhtémoc y en las elecciones de 1988, 13 años después del último Fuego Nuevo del siglo xx ocurrido en 1975, otro Carlos, Salinas de Gortari, despojó del poder presidencial a otro Cuauhtémoc y por medio del Tratado de Libre Comercio dejó atado a México al capital extranjero.

This study streams from the existing relation between signified and signifier: between the name and the role of individuals throughout history. As time goes by, and in an unconscious manner, the name “programs” humans. This occurs in the case of proper nouns and toponymics. Based on this thought, it analyzes Mexican history through its lead actors from the last period of the Aztec empire until 1821. I then explore the colonial times and the independence war. I comment on interesting findings, including how the Aztec empire was founded based on the totem of an eagle devouring a snake and ends with Cuahutemoc as a prisoner, the falling eagle. In the case of the independence war, as if history were a novel, it was initiated by Ignacio Allende, “fire from there” in Dolores, which in Spanish means “pains”. We could say the war started there due to the pains suffered because of exploitation and the people’s hunger. Vicente Guerrero, the vanquisher warrior, ended the war in Iguala (equal), a place where all Mexicans became equal, without conquerors or dominated people. In 1521, 14 years after the last “New Fire” of the Aztecs which happened in 1507, Charles V, through Hernan Cortes, removed Cuahutemoc from the throne; and the elections of 1988, 13 years after the last “New Fire” of the 20thCentury in 1975, another Carlos, Salinas de Gortari, removed from the presidential seat another Cuahutemoc, and through the Trade Agreement, left Mexico tied to foreign capital.
