Unidad Azcapotzalco. Coordinación de Servicios de Información., 2013-07) HIDALGO VICUÑA, NOEThe impacts in an urban environment produced by a natural disaster, are the damage to housing, we have used various emergency housing solutions to solve this problem, however, is common neglecting thermal comfort in these proposals, thus, you get situations where people prefer to make life outside the rooms due to intense heat or otherwise, the internal temperature does not reach the minimum thermal comfort range, which can lead to diseases that intensify the poor conditions victims. This little attention to thermal comfort is justified by the priority in a disaster, to get a space under cover, even if not resolved environmental comfort needs. Earthquakes are one of the most visible disasters, both the magnitude of their effects and by the speed with which the "mass media" handles disclose. In several places there are records of these events, whether Haiti, Turkey, Japan and Mexico. In the Mexican Republic, specifically in the Mexico City, the earthquake of 1985, was one of the worst disasters ever in living memory, and despite of the advances in the regulation and supervision of structures, there is still the possibility of extensive damage, especially in marginal areas, so it is necessary to develop strategies to address this problem in the short and long term. Usually lack qualities shelters bioclimatic, because are produced with tarps and plastic, with no more desire to have a covered space, this research shows the use of a material that is premised within a range bounded by the economy and transport of construction elements, improve comfort thermal the victims, through the use of materials with low environmental impact and economic and sustainable techniques, the material investigated are cardboard cylinders used initially as core of cloth rolls, low material environmental impact and considered as a residue.
