- Dibujar para conocer(Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana (México). Unidad Azcapotzalco. División de Ciencias y Artes para el Diseño., 2024-12) Cañizales Castro, Mónica Gabriela; Morales Moreno, AndreaDrawing is a way of approaching reality with the senses to represent it through a process of abstraction. The use of pictorial language invites us to look with intention and attention, to search for patterns, illumination, rhythms, shadows, colors, textures, materials, dimensions and hierarchies. It helps us to memorize details and communicate information more effectively. In the field of urban planning, the different graphic representations –maps, diagrams, plans, sketches– become a record that, through a historiographic review, allows us to learn about the transformations that a given space has undergone. This dialogue with our research from drawing has at least two aspects. The first is as a resource for approaching the actors in the field of study and compiling their perceptions of the space of interest, and the second, more personal, as a tool that allows us to understand the phenomenon we have set out to study and imagine ways of influencing its material reality.
- La triangulación metodológica en el análisis de la marcha del 25N(Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana (México). Unidad Azcapotzalco. División de Ciencias y Artes para el Diseño., 2024-12) García Villalpando, AmirThis article theme is a methological triangulation in the analysis of the march 25N, es a cicle of methos in interaction, for the complex situations tan protests or fight political trasngresive, around of the cities and public spaces multidimensional, and extreme complex because his system in reality is a system of systems, in this system coexist humans (the bio-psycho–social organism) more sofisticated. In the same complex are the social movements, phenomenon more famous for popular and colective: the marchs. Containment is a fight basically, but is possible understand contention the violence, through of the escape under pressure, through direct action. In this case the march of 25N, against the violence inthe context postpandemic COVID–19, with the specific characteristics. The idea is decrease cognitive bias produce for the passions of the manifestants, and writers.
- ¿Pánico escénico?(Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana (México). Unidad Azcapotzalco. División de Ciencias y Artes para el Diseño., 2024-12) TOVAR ROMERO, IARENEThere are many situations in which you may have to speak out loud in front of an audience. Whether presenting an idea at a work meeting, giving a motivational talk, or presenting a topic at a conference, the ability to communicate effectively with your audience is critical to success in many fields. However, many people find it difficult to give a speech, which can cause anxiety and stress. Below are some guidelines to overcome stage fright, which is one of the main problems to face.
- Biografía del pavimento(Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana (México). Unidad Azcapotzalco. División de Ciencias y Artes para el Diseño., 2024-12) Alvarado, Luis AlbertoThis text reflects on the path of hydraulic mosaic, from its beginnings to the present, in addition to observing the role of design in the different styles that influenced it, its evolution, decline and resurrection. It addresses the current situation of this pavement that faces extensive competition with different types of coatings. This writing focuses on its color and its importance when it comes to including it in academic practices, within the color workshop. Finally, it makes us reflect on the influence it has had for generations. Creating interest in this object, and generating a change in observation.
- Reglas del comportamiento de las cromáticas biomiméticas para su aplicación al diseño(Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana (México). Unidad Azcapotzalco. División de Ciencias y Artes para el Diseño., 2024-12) Cervantes Baqué, Adolfo AlbertoThis paper aims to explore the possibilities of implementing the chromatic applications present in nature in the field of design. It considers the diversity of design areas hat can benefit from this approach, including the various areas of design. Colour is a key element for individual and collective identity. Humans group ourselves by distinguishing characteristics, such as colour. This distinction fosters a sense of unity in the group. The colours of nature give identity to organisms in the eyes of human perception, and the people of each region can add to this feeling. We talk about the colour palette that designers and artists use in their works, they are important because they give identity. Designers seek to communicate a message, while artists seek to express their own vision or emotion. Finally, it is about the problems that arise here when using Artificial Intelligence.
- La administración pública como estudio de campo para el diseño gráfico(Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana (México). Unidad Azcapotzalco. División de Ciencias y Artes para el Diseño., 2024-12) ZARUR CORTÉS, JORGE EDUARDOThe context of public administration is currently made up of various state institutions with which graphic design is directly linked in the process of generating graphic communication proposals. For this reason, an exploratory research was carried out with the objective of obtaining data related to the work of graphic design and public administration. Under the contextual analysis, information was obtained that allowed us to observe a series of conditions specific to the performance of graphic designers in the public sector, directly covering public institutions belonging to the federal, state and municipal governments in Mexico. Thus, with the implementation of research instruments, a set of drawbacks and aspects present in the work of graphic designers were analyzed, detecting their opinions referring to the prevailing conditions for their professional practice in the generation of communicative graphic proposals. Based on a qualitative technique in which the in–depth interview builds the information through data collection, the most relevant details of the designers’ work are rescued, thereby establishing guidelines to observe and analyze to consider various options. in the reformulation of new approaches for the designer’s work in the field of public institutions in Mexico.
- La conceptualización de islas de atracciones y la herramienta metodológica matriz de intermitencias(Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana (México). Unidad Azcapotzalco. División de Ciencias y Artes para el Diseño., 2024-12) Ortega Soriano, Marco AntonioThe fundamental issue that the conceptualization of ‘islands of attractions’ tries to solve is to envision a standardization of language linked to the design constructs of two and three dimensions, which their users access (and are related to the different points of interest of such entities) through different locations associated with circulations and in specific contexts (such as science museums, gyms, amusement parks, etc.). The conceptualization of ‘islands of attractions’ recognizes the importance of considering the dimensions of cognition, emotions, and actions of their users as fundamental in shaping their experiences. The objective of this text is to define and explain the methodological tool called ‘intermittency matrix’ that will aid in the characterization and analysis of specific ‘islands of attractions’, providing various elements for its design, redesign, and evaluation.
- La investigación en sustentabilidad(Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana (México). Unidad Azcapotzalco. División de Ciencias y Artes para el Diseño., 2024-12) Flores Carapia, Martín LucasIn the last 50 years, the topic of the use and exploitation of natural and technological resources, as well as the conservation of natural environments, have been important axes of research in the various areas of human endeavor. In the academic circles of the design disciplines there has been growing concern about the role that design should play in promoting sustainable development. Research on sustainability is different in each discipline. The question is: How to approach it from design?.
- Instrumentos de consulta para la investigación(Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana (México). Unidad Azcapotzalco. División de Ciencias y Artes para el Diseño., 2024-12) Clavé Almeida, Manuel MartínIn this globalized world where information flows in seconds and is supposedly within the immediate reach of anyone and anywhere on the planet, there is a belief that information, simply because it comes from a digital medium, it is of quality and truthful, a perception that is completely erroneous and mistaken, as the Internet is an open network and welcomes all types of content from any source, without any verification filter that guarantees the quality and certainty of the information data. Under the coverage of that premise, today thousands of texts are written based on information obtained in this way with what in academia we know as “copy and paste” and which results in the repetition of errors that multiply even in serious books, whose authors did not go to the original sources to verify the information they blindly reproduce. With this small contribution I intend to interest readers in resorting to the rich sources of information offered by the various archives of Mexico City, from the General Archive of the Nation, which, as its name well indicates, contains data of general interest about all topics related to our history, as well as the archives that house specific information in a particular field.
- Memoria e imaginación: Herramientas para el diseño para la transición(Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana (México). Unidad Azcapotzalco. División de Ciencias y Artes para el Diseño., 2024-12) Romero Amaro, María FernandaDesign goes beyond aesthetics and functionality; currently, design trends seek to provide systematic solutions to current societal problems. By integrating memory and imagination, solutions are created that evoke positive emotional responses, thus addressing society’s challenges more effectively. Collaboration in design, combining individual memories that transform into historical memory and collective aspirations that seek the common good, results in contextualized and precise solutions. The relationship between memory and society is profound; culture influences how we remember and vice versa. This is essential when addressing issues of memory and its impact on society. Thus, if the design for transition is approached from memory and imagination, it can offer solutions that emotionally connect on both individual and collective levels. An example of this approach is the water crisis in cities, a topic I address in my research. Through emotions, historical memory, and imagination of sustainable futures, the aim is to solve this challenge from the design for transition perspective. From this approach, a paradigm shift is sought by transforming the perception of water resources; this implies recognizing that both individual and collective actions have an impact on the pollution of water resources; with the goal of improving society’s relationship with water and promoting a culture of water.
