Evaluación del confort acústico del espacio urbano: caso de estudio, corredor urbano y espacio de recreación en Azcapotzalco, Ciudad de México
Abstract
Los estudios sobre el efecto que tiene la presencia de diversos factores ambientales en los espacios urbanos contribuyen a establecer criterios de diseño de acuerdo a las condiciones ambientales, físicas y sociales de cada espacio y a sus necesidades. El sonido, es un factor ambiental poco considerado y no suele asociarse con el confort en exteriores en la práctica urbana o arquitectónica, sin embargo, se ha demostrado que la presencia de altos niveles sonoros influye en la molestia y la salud de los individuos. El objetivo de esta investigación es generar conocimiento del confort acústico urbano dentro del área de Arquitectura Bioclimática para determinar las condiciones de bienestar del espacio urbano en la Ciudad de México. Así, se desarrolló un estudio de carácter no experimental de carácter correlacional basado en el registro de variables acústicas y la aplicación de una encuesta con una escala de juicio subjetivo para valorar el confort acústico en espacios urbanos. Se aplicaron un total de 394 encuestas en cuatro espacios seleccionados de la Delegación Azcapotzalco. Los resultados derivan en conclusiones con respecto al confort acústico urbano en la Delegación Azcapotzalco y la propuesta de un modelo de predicción del confort acústico que permita al arquitecto evaluar y tomar decisiones de diseño hacia la creación de espacios abiertos con calidad acústica.
