La videopolítica como transgresión genérica y discursiva
Abstract
El presente artículo es una aproximación a la idea de la videopolítica como un hecho emergente que permite reconocer las herramientas videográficas dentro del contexto cambiante de la relación entre los medios audiovisuales y el posicionamiento político que conllevan. La relación entre arte y política, inserta implícitamente en el concepto de videopolítica se encuentra mediada por los recursos visuales que potencializan los vínculos entre ambas dimensiones, incluidas las modalidades que adopta el lenguaje audiovisual al transitar de los medios electrónicos a los cibernéticos. Al mismo tiempo, esa relación ha adquirido una renovada actualización como resultado de un mayor acceso social a los medios y recursos creativos y, por tanto, al desarrollo y potencialización de los recursos discursivos en los medios videográficos. En este sentido, algunos aspectos relevantes que aquí se retoman para reconocer el potencial del video se enfocan a dos campos fundamentales: por un lado, la función eminentemente discursiva y, por tanto, orientada a situarse en un lugar concreto y una posición determinada, ya sea como creadores o como receptores de la materia videográfica; por otro, el papel fundamental que juega el montaje, no como operación meramente técnica, sino como construcción significativa que otorga sentido y dirección a la práctica videográfica.
