This work shows the effect of three light loads in the form of microspheres on the density and mechanical properties of a laminated bending of a fiberglass reinforced polyester resin base. Although the objective is to reduce the weight of these laminates used in the transport industry, in order to reduce the weight of the unit and the consequent reduction of energy. However, it is important to verify that the mechanical properties meet the specifications for that application. The study shows that while reducing the density between 15 and 18%, it also reduces the mechanical strength. On the other hand, it is interesting to use microspheres with three media sizes and consequently three different densities. The results that show the use of microspheres with a diameter of 43 microns and a density of 0.33 g/cm₃, reduce in a smaller proportion the density of the laminate, the flexural properties of the sound even for the use of laminates in the transport industry Automotive.
