This article from the immense work of José María Arguedas
highlights an analysis of four questions relating to refine and
define semantic concepts in Quechua. The first point relates to
the Quechua poetry, the genre itself is only recited without any
vocal music. The second aspect specifies the Quechua Noun for
the “anthem”. The third point analyzes the story “The Lizard”
as the archetype of the “Sphinx” Quechua. The fourth and last
point, maintains the change from the Quechua word for the game
of spin, for its sexual meaning, with a neologism used in the
novel Deep Rivers.
