In the depraved circle of time, no one knows when will die, even so
death is the only certainty. This text, as it goes, is meant to be a tribute
to certain moments in the life of some artists –seven writers and
a painter– whom died shortly before or shortly after the turn of the
millennium. In the manner of Enrique Fernandez Ledesma and his
Galleries of ghosts, these lines are a tribute to life, full of intelligence
and inflexible with the calling, from Severino Salazar, Francisco
Cervantes, Miguel Ángel Hernández Rubio, Carlos Montemayor,
William Scully, William Fernández, Alí Chumacero and
Margarita Villaseñor. Palabras clave/Key words: muerte, vida, amistad /death, life, friendship. tyvlxxxviii
