Proceso de migración de la evaluación diagnóstica tradicional a evaluación en línea, de conocimientos previos de Química en alumnos de nuevo ingreso a las carreras de la ESIQIE – IPN, en México
Resumen
Se presenta la migración y aplicación de una experiencia académica realizada en 2014, con la población de alumnos de las tres carreras que imparte la ESIQIE – IPN, en México. Esta escuela ostenta una larga tradición en la formación de ingenieros químicos y por ello, es importante contar con datos sobre los niveles de conocimientos previos de Química, para identificar fortalezas y debilidades. La experiencia se realizó en dos fases: la migración del examen tradicional en papel para adaptarlo a examen en línea con el uso del proyecto ESIQIE – Virtual, en los semestres Enero – Junio y Agosto – Diciembre del 2014 y la aplicación a los jóvenes de nuevo ingreso en la semana de inducción, con apoyo de personal docente, administrativo y el uso de infraestructura computacional institucional. Se lograron tres objetivos secundarios como agilizar la evaluación diagnóstica, bajar el tiempo de aplicación del examen tradicional y entregar inmediatamente los resultados a los sustentantes, al incluir las TIC’s en estos procesos educativos. The migration and application of an academic experience carried out in 2014 is presented, with the population of students from the three careers taught by the ESIQIE - IPN, in Mexico. This school has a long tradition in the training of chemical engineers and therefore, it is important to have data on the levels of previous knowledge of Chemistry, to identify strengths and weaknesses. The experience was carried out in two phases: the migration of the traditional paper exam to adapt it to an online exam with the use of the ESIQIE - Virtual project, in the semesters January - June and August - December 2014 and the application to young people again entry into the induction week, with the support of teaching and administrative staff and the use of institutional computer infrastructure. Three secondary objectives were achieved, such as speeding up the diagnostic evaluation, reducing the application time of the traditional exam and immediately delivering the results to the supporters, by including ICTs in these educational processes.
