Abstract
The central hypothesis of this work is that the absolute and relative versions of buying power, (TPC) are valid in the long run, in order to test this hypothesis simultaneous equations were used, the same that were calculated throughout the technics of minimal square roots in three stages (MC3E). This permitted a more precise estimate of the regression coefficients and the variances of said coefficients therefore making the hypothesis test results more reliable.
