Abstract

El debate sobre la definición de organización siempre ha estado presente entre los estudiosos de las organizaciones. No está de más argumentar que todos y cada uno de los discursos que se han construido explicando a la organización se fincan en su capacidad de convencimiento más que en la cientificidad que sustentan en su momento histórico, y aun hoy en día, son discursos construidos para dar la impresión de verosimilitud. No con esto dejamos de reconocer la empresa científica que esto significa. Solo manifestamos nuestro convencimiento del carácter humano que conlleva la teorización. El estudio de caso enfatiza no solo en la construcción de teorías, sino que también incorpora las teorías existentes, lo cual revela una mezcla de la inducción con la deducción. En el presente número 47 de la revista Gestión y estrategia incluimos artículos que reportan investigaciones que utilizan el estudio de caso, reivindicando la validez del mismo cuando se dan las condiciones adecuadas, se sigue un diseño correcto y se aplica de una manera rigurosa. En nuestra opinión los estudios de caso son una metodología correcta para acercarse al estudio de las organizaciones. ABSTRACT: The debate on the definition of organization always has been present between the experts of the organizations. Is not of more arguing that each and every of the speeches that have been constructed explaining to the organization there are cultivated in his capacity of conviction more that in the cientificidad that they sustain in his historical moment, and even nowadays, they are speeches constructed to give the impression of verisimilitude. Not with this we stop recognizing the scientific company that this means. Only we demonstrate our conviction of the human character that the teorización carries. The study of case emphasizes not only the construction of theories, but also there incorporates the existing theories, which reveals a mixture of the induction with the deduction. In the present number 47 of the magazine Management and strategy we include articles that bring investigations that use the study of case, claiming the validity of the same one when they give themselves the suitable conditions, a correct design follows and are applied in a rigorous way. In our opinion the studies of case are a correct methodology to approach the study of the organizations. PALABRAS CLAVE: Organización, estudio de casos, metodología.
